OOTD: Obsessed with Skeletons

Apologies for not posting so much lately because I’ve been busy and I’m so sick of this cold weather! I’ve just been bundling up in whatever keeps me warm lately.

Skeleton Top by Boohoo

Pants: Ebay

I called this post “obsessed with skeletons” because I’ve always had at least one skeleton-type shirt in my closet and have gone through so many over the years. This bodysuit is the most current one and it’s actually pretty comfy. It’s always fun breaking out my skeleton tops but also, it now feels like a decade-old tradition (because I got my first skeleton hoodie over a decade ago). Does anyone else have anything like that?

Sorry to keep this post short and a bit uninteresting but I thought I’d post to let you know I’m still here, just seriously waiting for this weather to warm up. I sincerely hope it does.

Until next time!

OOTDs: an Attempt to be Elegant

I’m feeling a lot better than I did a few weeks ago. Sometimes time away from things can really help smooth things over. But in any event, I do have some pretty cute OOTDs to show you!

Wide-Legged Pants by Asfurah
Top: Boohoo
Pants: Asfurah
Shoes: Windsor

I absolutely love this blouse (which is actually a dress) that I got from Boohoo and I’ve liked wearing it a lot, so I decided to pair it with some awesomely comfortable wide-legged pants I got from Etsy! These pants are absolutely amazing and I’ve worn them with a variety of different tops from velvet blouses to tees so I’m sure they’ll be making an appearance here on the blog quite a few more times.

Victoria Top by Pinup Girl Clothing

Skirt: Lady Sloth
Shoes: Forever 21

I wanted to break out my new blouse from PUG Clothing so I decided to pair it with an elegant skirt I’ve been wearing a lot recently. I really like the way the outfit turned out, elegant but also a bit edgy with the skeleton motif and the blocky boots. I definitely really liked this look.

Also, I decided on a fringe bang and I actually really like it! It’s nice to try something different every once in a while.

I hope everyone has been having a wonderful week and that this upcoming spring will treat you all well! Until next time!

OOTDs: a Period of Indifference

I realise now that I’m not in the best financial situation so if you or a friend needs a website, I’m offering layouts for as low as $20 and I’d really like to help! In the meantime, I will not be buying anything new until I can get my savings back on its feet.

That’s why this blog post is titled “A Period of Indifference.” I’m trying not to think about it!

Anyway, here are some OOTDs from the past week:

Sweater by Sourpuss
Sweater: Sourpuss Clothing

I was pretty disappointed I couldn’t buy any more spooky Christmas sweaters this winter but am so glad I do have the ones I have from Sourpuss! I paired this one up with a basic velvet skirt and some booties and I think it looked really cute. I’m pretty sure I’ve done similar outfits before but you can’t go wrong with this one!

Dress by Pinup Girl Clothing
Dress: Pinup Girl Clothing
Shoes: Bettie Page Clothing

I got this dress for Christmas and even though I absolutely love the black harlequin print, it fits weirdly and the fabric is much stiffer than I thought it would be. It stays in whatever position you put it in, which would be great if you don’t want a flowy skirt effect. Alas, I really think it’s cute and will try to wear it more often.
My feet hurt from wearing a new pair of shoes so I decided to go on some short heels, but it would definitely look cute with a bunch of other shoes.

I have a very busy week ahead of me so I’m not sure if I can blog next week but I will definitely try. Until next time!
