OOTDs: the Renaissance Fair
I’m one of those people who loves to go to the renaissance fair each year, and I’m a complete geek for dressing up in clothing I’m not brave enough to wear on an average day. This year, I went twice.
Top: Rose Mortem
I got several compliments on my outfit, which I was actually rather surprised about. I really need to start corset training again, seeing as I’m so horrible at wearing the garment. But on another note, I was so excited to wear my skirt out for the first time! Just look how gorgeous it is:
And of course, the look wouldn’t have been complete without my jewellery:
Dragon Necklace: Dracula Clothing
Velvet Choker: Lilacat Designs
Pentagram Ring: Arcana XIII
Skeleton Hand Ring: Freedom Jewelry USA
I’m so in love with my dragon necklace. I remember I was upset with how large it was several years ago when I first got it, but now I think it’s the perfect size – not too small and not too large.
The second time I went, it was raining so I decided to wear boots and a shorter skirt to avoid stains and trips into mud. I made up for it by tying a shawl I got at the Fest a few years ago around my waist.

I’m trying to stop wearing so much eyeliner since it makes my eyes look strange and yet they still look so tiny. Sigh.
Today was absolutely gorgeous. It finally feels like October and Halloween is just around the corner. I hope the same is true of where you live!

OOTDs: Rain that Never Ends
I used to hate the rain but I’ve grown to see the beauty of it. It’s been raining for a straight week now and I’m actually enjoying it. It feels so nice to be at peace with the weather rather than wishing it away.
Anyway, I’ve been going to a tonne of local concerts lately and I thought I’d share my outfits.
Dress: MoonMaiden Gothic
I like highlighting graphic leggings/clothing with all black. I decided to play with the forest theme and added some tree jewellery and a wolf ring. It’s so subtle but I love it when things match in theme.
Shirt: Band tee
Skirt: Banned apparel
Shoes: Funtasma via Infectious Threads
I love my new Funtasma shoes but they are incredibly difficult to mosh in! However they’re not too difficult to walk in. And they also add a lot of height to my short self. I’m also happy that with Infectious Threads, I’ve been getting tonnes of coupon codes. 10/10 would recommend that shop and signing up for their newsletter to save.
In other news, I’m so excited it’s October! There are so many things I’d like to do this month since everyone’s in the mood for Halloween and I’m quite excited to see what this season has in store for us.
