OOTDs: Basic Blacks
I’ve been rather basic with my outfits lately but I wanted to showcase some of the new things I’ve gotten so I decided on another OOTD for the week. Next week, I think I’m going to do something I haven’t done before.
Skirt: Emerald Angel
I was so excited to get this shirt. I initially ordered it off the Boohoo website and my order was cancelled since it was out of stock, and then I managed to buy it on Ebay. It’s so simple but so pretty and makes me feel like a queen. So far I’ve paired it with my spiderweb skirt but honestly, I like it against my lipstick colours more than other clothes. Is that a weird thing to say?
As for my jewellery, I usually try to have a theme to what I wear, but this time there was none. I wore my cat ring because my cat’s been ill, poor baby.
It may seem simple but I’m sooo excited about this dress because the brand that makes it uses organic and recycled materials to make their clothing; this dress in particular is made of hemp. How awesome is that? I wish that more companies were eco-friendly with their clothing and jewellery, or other crafts.
Celtic Ring: CJs Jewelry Shoppe
I wore some of my favourite jewellery out too. There’s no theme, but I really love some of these pieces and I got some compliments on them too!
Again, I’m hoping that next week I’ll have put something together that’s a bit different from what I’ve done already. Until then!

Post in Fashion, Outfits of the Day
OOTDs: Drastically Windy Days
The holidays are almost here and I can’t wait! I love shopping for Christmas presents and decorating the house, amongst other things.
In case the title of this post didn’t give it away, it has been incredibly windy this past weekend. Leaves are flying everywhere, which I find beautiful.
Anyways, here are this week’s outfits:
Top: MoonMaiden Gothic
Skirt: Emerald Angel
In the photograph, the contrast in light reflection between the velvet and cotton is more apparent than it was in person. I wasn’t sure how these two pieces would go together but I liked the subtle witchy-ness of the outfit. And that’s actually one of my favourite skirts – it was made in cotton instead of satin for me so I could wear it more often!
I love this outfit and how it’s very vintage feeling but still spooky, if you will. I’d really like to get more vintage-style clothing, especially since I work so much (and vintage-style is actually work-acceptable). Also I just bought a tonne of clothes from Sourpuss and I can’t wait for them to arrive!
For all you Americans, I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving holiday! Stay happy & warm.
